Pushpa: Allu Arjun And Sukumar Back In Maredumilli

Allu Arjun is currently occupied with Pushpa: The Rise which is in the final leg of the shoot. The makers are planning to complete the entire shoot by the end of this October and have been working accordingly. The latest news is that team Pushpa has kickstarted a penultimate schedule in Maredumilli forest region. Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, and others are taking part in the Maredumilli schedule. This isn't the first time Pushpa unit is filming in the dense Maredumilli forest region. Previously, the unit shot a few action blocks in the area. Now, they are back in the same location to shoot a few more sequences.
The Maredumilli schedule is expected to go on till the end of September and all the forest backdrop scenes will be shot in this schedule. The shoot is going on at a brisk pace in picturesque locales in the forest ranges now. It is heard that the protagonist - antagonist confrontational scenes are being shot in the ongoing schedule.
The makers of Pushpa are planning to wrap the Maredumilli schedule by this October and then move to Hyderabad for the last and final schedule of the Allu Arjun starrer. The entire shoot will be wrapped up with the Hyderabad schedule and the post production will commence correspondingly. Meanwhile, promotions are in full swing for the rustic forest based actioner now. The makers had already unveiled the first song from the audio album 'Daakko Daakko Meka'. The second song is also likely to be unveiled by the end of September. An official announcement in this regard is awaited though.
Pushpa: The Rise is announced for release this Christmas season. Despite the uncertainty surrounding theatrical revenues, the makers are planning to stick to the initial release plans. It is heard that Allu Arjun will be taking up Icon once he is done with Pushpa: The Rise. He will start working on Pushpa: Part 2 only after he is done with Icon. As for Icon, the film will be helmed by Sriram Venu of Vakeel Saab fame. Apparently, Pooja Hegde, and Krithi Shetty are in talks for the female lead roles in the Allu Arjun starrer.
