Allu Arjun do you really know about emotion?
By: Tupaki Desk | 5 July 2017 1:17 PM GMTAllu Arjun and Duvvada Jagannadam team seems to have been highly effected by the reviews they got for their movie. As the makers are unable to look past the reviews and critics opinions during their promotions even Critics are trying to ask the hero and the makers what is their mistake in all the issue.
According to Critics, Bunny is using a dialogue for his promotion in US by equating the emotion in his movie to Mother's Love and there is no base to that statement. In fact, they are commenting that it is highly funny too. They are claiming that DJ lacks in emotions and comparing their movie to Baahubali 2 would have helped them to realise what emotion in a movie really means.
Critics are also giving an example from Baahubali 2 saying that during the interval, people shout for their leader who doesn't take the crown but a lesser post than that. They cheer his name and even audience in theatres feel the same emotion for the lead character in the scene. Such is the top level emotion executed in that one scene and in entire DJ we do not find such high in the entire runtime. Actually, in DJ, the lead character goes on killing people because someone hit his father and the character doesn't have any emotional build - up to carry out such mass murders. There is neither any message to society nor any emotion in the film.
Well many reviewers claim that in their reviews none of them have specified any such elements but just wrote that it is a routine story. They say they kept in mind that the movie is a big production with a big hero and wrote the review. Without understanding that emotion, Allu Arjun asked us how we can rate mother's love. We can't! But rating a movie is definitely not rating mother's love. If it is so, then is it right for a producer to sell that emotion for 100s of rupees? Is it right for an actor to take money to show such emotion on screen?
When you sell it like that all it becomes is a product. So, when you're selling a product people will try to review them and also others will read those reviews to form an opinion! Shouldn't they have the right to decide if they want to see that particular or not based on a review? Being a producer's son, Bunny saying not to review the movies and asking not to rate them is completely hilarious, claim reviewers.
Bunny also said that a person's opinion in one review is being projected as the opinion of entire Overseas audience. Critics have some strong reaction towards this too. They are saying, " Let it be news article on the front page, a review or even the script of the a film is written by one person only. But that one person tries to represent the ideas of a society and their thought process as well. When Bunny can believe that a single person like Harish Shankar's script can be a blockbuster movie, then why can't a review writer's perception be representing a community? Shouldn't we think before speaking out Bunny?"
Even though DJ is able to collect 100 crores gross or even if it collects 150 crores gross, the movie cannot be called classic, claim critics. They are suggesting Bunny to make a powerful commercial movie that will force them to give five stars rather than delivering punch lines in a new get-up. "If movie is good, we won't give it '0' rating even if Allu Arjun himself asks us to do so. When the film is not good then we won't change our rating based on collections be it 100 crores or any number. If the movie is not upto the mark, then we have to say it is not upto the mark, that is the truth," commented the reviewers.
Along with this, reviewers are also making another comment, "Has the makers cannot say the truth, ' we made an average movie that will entertain you with comedy for 2 hours without any story', due to an emotion called ego, they are blaming reviewers as emotionless creatures and promoting their movie. This means that they do not know difference emotion and promotion", concluded the reviewers and critics. Well, we have to wait and see, how will Allu Arjun react to these comments.
