Allu Arjun Father-in-Law Kancherla Chandrasekhar Reddy has faced a shameful defeat in his first ever election.
Mr. Reddy is the TRS Candidate for Ibrahimpatnam Assembly Constituency. He, however, failed to win the trust of voters despite the wave in favor of TRS in Telangana. As a result, He ended up in 4th Place and also lost deposit in Ibrahimpatnam.
Kancherla Chandrasekhar Reddy owns Scient Institute of Technology in Ibrahampatnam, Ranga Reddy district. He aspired for Miryalaguda TRS ticket but only offered Ibrahimpatnam and the end result isn't in his favour.
In Ibrahimpatnam, The main fight is only between TDP candidate Manchireddy Kishan Reddy and Independent Malreddy Ram Reddy. Kishan Reddy won the seat by securing 48,397 votes against Ram Reddy who bagged 37,215 votes.
Sources say, Pawan Kalyan's whirlwind tour in Telangana few days before the polling has done the trick. The actor-turned-politician campaigned for the victory of Manchireddy Kishan Reddy in Ibrahimpatnam as TDP is an alliance partner of NDA.
