Allu Arjun on a record breaking spree

Allu Arjun achieved the status of one among the Top 5 Heroes in Tollywood with 'Race Gurram' which is on a record breaking spree ever since it hit the screens.
'Race Gurram' collected a Worldwide (excluding Kerala) share of Rs 46.8 crore within 17 days. On 18th Day, The film raked in a share of around Rs 50 lakhs helping it surpass some of the biggest hits of Tollywood.
As per the trade, 'Race Gurram' is at 7th Position in ALL TIME TOP 10 TOLLYWOOD FILMS LIST. Current Top 1-: 1) AD - 74.88 Crore, 2) MD - 73.1 Crore; 3) GS - 60.55 Crore; 4) Dookudu - 56.7 Crore; 5) SVSC - 51 Crore; 6) Mirchi - 47.45 Crore; 7) Race Gurram - 47.3 (still running); 8) Yevadu - 47.1 Crore; 9) Badshah - 47 Crore; 10) Naayak - 46.5 Crore.
In fact, 'Race Gurram' is posing a threat to Mahesh Babu's SVSC if included the collections of Malayalam version as well.
As per trade, 'Lucky - The Racer' opened to packed houses in 70-plus screens on April 25th and doing much better business than two straight Malayalam releases (Masala Republic, Samsaram Arogyathinu Hanikaram). Even the reviews and word of mouth has been positive for the movie. It is likely to cross the 'Yevadu' record to become the biggest grosser in Mallu Land.
