Allu Arjun is one of the heroes from Mega family who achieved stardom and special recognition for himself early in his career. His last film 'DJ-Duvvada Jagannadham' attracted criticism for the routine content, so he is trying to score a hit with next with an action flick 'Naa Peru Surya'.
Writer Vakkantham Vamsi who has provided a story for Allu Arjun's super hit film 'Race Gurram' is debuting as a director with this film. Allu Arjun is playing the role of an army officer in this film. The shoot of this film is going on with jet speed now. Vakkantham Vamsi is picturising action sequences choreographed by Ram-Lakshman masters in Ramoji Film City at present. Filmmakers initially planned to army backdrop scenes in Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Jammu.. but they are picturising other action sequences instead of North India schedule.
Bunny is said to be working very hard to look fit for the film as he is going to play the role of an army officer. He is undergoing fitness training under an American trainer. Anu Emmanuel is the heroine of this film. Action King Arjun is playing a special role.. Sharath Babu is essaying the villain role. Bollywood music composer duo Vishal-Shekar is scoring music.
