Amala Paul Secures Bail

Actress Amala Paul has been alleged to have tried to smuggle luxury car into the country without paying the appropriate taxes. The actress along with Malayalam actor, Fahad Fassil are alleged to have tried to escape appropriate taxes with full knowledge by the Kerala Police.
The actress asked for a bail against arrest in Tiruvananthapuram High Court but the court asked her to first surrender to the police and then, they will consider about the bail petition.
She surrendered to Crime Police of Kerala, on Tuesday and they produced her at Tiruvanthapuram Court. Court took her bail petition to examine and granted her a bail, on the terms that she will be available for police procedures and appear for Court arguments further without fail.
She was granted the bail, on paying the amount Rs. 1 Lakh as security deposit. The actress will be free to attend her acting assignments and promotional tours.
She was accused of buying a luxury car outside India and escaping an import tax of 20 Lakhs rupees by giving a false address.
