Amazon Prime Negotiating Deal With Dil Raju

The Corona virus pandemic has left us all in a lockdown. The demand for content on TV, OTTs has surged double the need and all the platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney Hotstar are desperately adding content to help their audience. Even after these many efforts, demand for content is not ending and that’s where the OTTs are running back of producers.
In Bollywood, almost all the small films have released on Amazon Prime recently. The sudden lockdown has left the producers of the film just with one option and that is sell it to OTT!
Recently the direct release on OTT trend started in the down south too. A small film 'Amrutha Ramam' released on Zee5. The film didn't have stars and proper content to pull the audience and thus remained a flop on the OTT too.
Now the OTT platforms are just upping the game in Tollywood. It is said that Amazon Prime is ready to offer Rupees 20 Crores for the film 'V'. The OTT platform is negotiating deal with the producer and are even ready to pay per view after the first week of release. On the other side, Dil Raju is said to be firm on his quote of Rupees 35 Crores. Let's see if the OTT makes the deal or not. 'V' starred Nani and Sudheer Babu and was all set to release on March 25th on the occasion of Telugu New Year Ugadi.
Now movie lovers are waiting as to which good movie would release to quench their thirst of entertainment. Film of Anushka Shetty 'Nishabdam' may not have a Theatrical release.The reason is one OTT giant is desperately trying to buy out the film and have its digital release by offering huge price to makers. Will the makers say yes to the proposal is the big question now.
The movie was supposed to release on April 02 and with lockdown and Theaters shutdown the movie had no chance but to seal the deal with OTT giant! Let's see what happens.
