Amazon Prime's big film failing miserably

In a strange development of sorts, Amazon Prime Video's flagship outing, Gehraiyaan, which has Deepika Padukone, Siddhanth Chaturvedi, and others in the lead roles is failing miserably in catching the attention of the OTT audience.
Amazon Prime announced that Gehraiyaan will be premiering on the platform on the 25th of this month. But there have been very little to no promotions for the film.
As of now, Gehraiyaan has not garnered any hyped from the OTT audience. There is no talk about the film on social media either.
The film has a big star cast as it has Deepika Padukone, Siddhanth, Ananya Panday, and others in the lead roles but it is not able to create any sort of anticipation.
With the digital premieres not too far from now, it is high time that Amazon Prime Video amps up the promotional campaign at the earliest.
Gehraiyaan is directed by Shaku Batra who made a successful debut with Kapoor and Sons. Incidentally, Amazon Prime Video is yet to drop the trailer of the film.
