This Film Is To Be Released First Directly On OTT

With the ongoing lockdown, the film shootings and releases are suspended and the movie theatres are completely shut indefinitely.
Considering this, the small budget films are looking towards the OTT giants as they offer interesting deals to release the films directly on their platforms even before theatrical release.
Now a small film Amrutharamam which had to be released on March 25th has been put on hold. Recently, the makes sold the digital rights, and it will be streaming on Zee5 from April 29th.
Most of the filmmakers are desperately waiting for May 7th for the completion of the lockdown to take the final call.
With the present situations, several other films will also be released on OTT platforms soon. Telugu producers are in talks with the OTT platforms, and it is said that Mega Producer Allu Aravind have singed some deals and they would be announced soon.
