Why did Anasuya apologise?

Leading Anchor Anasuya received backlash for hosting Shows such as 'Jabardasth' and 'Jackpot' which are filled with adult content. Especially, The promos of 'Jackpot' hasn't gone well with many people.
Anasuya took to Facebook to disclose her version: 'I feel happy and blessed to take my decisions independently. Family and Audience have supported me a lot. Any public figure will have certain social responsibility. Currently, I am hosting shows such as Jabardasth, Drama Juniors, Gold Rush and Jackpot'.
'A lot of discussion has been going on regarding the adult comedy in Jabardasth in the recent past. I am not the only one answerable for it. All these four shows have been liked by a lot of people. At the same time, There might be people who doesn't like them. It depends on the choices and tastes of individuals'.
Reacting to the controversy over 'Medhi Lesthadi...Nadhi Padipodhi' promo, Anasuya explained: 'Promos of Jackpot were cut only to arouse curiosity among viewers. But, The past few promos have been deviating from the actual content and editing is being done in such a manner. Even I would say 'What nonsense is this' upon watching such promos as a viewer. Actually, We are speaking about the winning amount and losing amount here, nothing else. I expressed my displeasure with the Director of 'Jackpot'. A similar thing happened when Aadi appeared on my show. May be, It's happening due to the lack of co-ordination between our team. I am apologising for what has happened!'.
'Even I have a family...they get hurt with such harsh comments. So, Leave it if you don't like something. Why do you bother about others? Focus on much more important things in your life'.
