Rangasthalam has been able to score huge at the box office. The movie has collected Rs. 180 crores gross, being the third highest for Telugu Cinema ever after Baahubali series.
In the film, after Ram Charan's Chitti Babu, Samantha Akkineni's Rama Lakshmi, Adhi Pinisetty's character, it is Rangammattha who made major impact and Anasuya played that character.
She normally wears trendy traditional and glamorous western outfits on TV as an anchor. So, looking at her in a complete village lady avatar, needed time to accept but she pulled off the character really well.
