Telugu remakes have become a vital asset for Hindi producers as remakes are becoming huge hits there.
But they are coming up with good films too which are being looked into by Telugu producers for remaking.
After the success of Evaru and Rakshasudu, the demand for thrillers has grown and Telugu producers are in Mumbai looking to close the deal.
Allu Aravind is trying to buy the rights for his Geetha Arts and who will star in the film is not known yet.
Koneru Satyanarayana - producer of Rakshasudu, Abhishek Nama of Abhishek Pictures, Asian Sunil - distributor from Nizam, are prominently in the race to buy the rights.
Ravi Teja also asked one of his close producers to buy rights it seems. There are few others who try to buy and then resell on their terms also in the competition.
Viacom Pictures who are the producers of the film and who own all rights are asking for 2.5 crores for rights and partnership in profits with logo as presenter, it seems.
