Sequel to Sensational Film after 15 Years

'Nayak', the Hindi remake of sensational flick 'Oke Okkadu', went on to become a commercial success in 2001. Anil Kapoor played the lead role Shivaji Rao and Rani Mukherjee appeared as his love interest in the Hindi version.
Fifteen Years after the release of 'Nayak', Arrangements to make a sequel to it have been done in a fast paced manner. Eros International and Producer Deepak Mukut would jointly produce the sequel. Even the rights have been obtained by Producer AM Ratnam.
Rajamouli's Father KV Vijayendra Prasad is penning the script for 'Nayak' sequel. He will be ready with bound script within 2-3 months.
Makers are keen on roping Anil Kapoor for the sequel depending on the requirement. Its too early to take a call on Casting of lead actors.
