Anil Kapoor's Son In Abhinav Bindra Biopic
By: Tupaki Desk | 6 Sep 2017 4:42 PM GMTBiopics are the latest trend in Bollywood. Several biopics have already been made and they tasted success at the box office. Several others are on the sets.. some biopics are in the planning stage. One such film is on Olympic gold medalist in shooting, Abhinav Bindra.
There were reports on Abhinav Bindra biopic in 2016 itself but there was no further update on the film. But Anil Kapoor's son Harshavardhan Kapoor has confirmed that he is essaying Abhinav Bindra role. While sharing a pic with Abhinav Bindra, Harshavardhan wrote on his Instagram page that "Beginnings are very special. Especially when you get to play a character that has made the nation proud on world stage. I am stoked to have been chosen to play #AbhinavBindra and hopefully will do justice to the man, the legend! Like the man himself said "Hard Work is a talent." #LetsDoThis."
Harshavardhan debuted into Bollywood last year with 'Mirzya' directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. The movie turned out to be a disaster at the box office. He is presently working on his second film 'Bhavesh Joshi' directed by Vikramaditya Motwane.
