Rajni's 2.0 to follow Baahubali!

Bahhubali franchise has become the most celebrated movie franchise of Indian Cinema. Hindi Version of the movie, Baahubali 2 collected more than 500 crores nett gross and Rajnikanth 2.0 is looking to repeat the feat as well.
Lyca Productions chief, N. Ramalingam shared that AA Films, Anil Thadani who distributed the movie in Hindi and planned the entire release and marketing strategy for Baahubali franchise will be distributing their film too.
While Karan Johar became the face of the campaign, the entire release has been scheduled by Anil Thadani and his AA Films. There were speculations that the 2.0 team sold their Hindi rights for 80 crores. Producer N.Ramalingam hinted that no deal off that sort has been finalised yet.
2.0 is scheduled for a release in 2018 and Shankar has already completed the movie shoot. Rajnikanth and Akshay Kumar will be sharing the screen for the first time in the movie. AR Rahman is composing the music for this film.
