Another Big Project Set In 'Kolar Gold Fields'!
By: Tupaki Desk | 13 Oct 2022 11:42 AM GMTThe first thing we remember when we hear the name Kolar Gold Fields is Prasanth Neel's super hit 'KGF' which was narrated in two parts. The two chapters which came out in 2019 and 2022 were highly successful and gained nationwide recognition. Now, another big project is being made in the backdrop of Kolar Gold Fields. This time, it is a Tamil film that will be shot in Hindi as well and it is going to be released in multiple Indian languages.
Pa Ranjith who made films like 'Kaala', 'Kabali', 'Sarpatta Parambarai' and others will be directing this movie while star hero Chiyaan Vikram will be seen as the protagonist. The movie will be set in the 19th century and it is going to be made in 3D too. The critically acclaimed director stated that his movie has no similarities with 'KGF'.
He stated that Prasanth Neel's film deals with gangsters, while his movie will be focused on the lives of people in mines during the 19th century. It is Vikram's 61st project and his last outing 'PS - 1' turned out to be a good hit in Tamil Nadu. He arrived in August with 'Cobra' which ended up as a failure. We need to wait and see how his movie with a director like Pa Ranjith is going to be. Sources claim that the popular OTT platform Netflix bought the OTT rights for this esteemed project.
