Another heroine ends marriage after 11 years

Divorce devil is still haunting Bollywood.After separation of noted couple Hrithik-Suzzanne;Priyadarshan and Lizzy now another couple announced their divorce news.
Bollywood actress turned director, Pooja Bhatt and her husband Manish Makhija ended their marriage after 11 years. Pooja Bhatt took to Twitter to announce her separation from her husband Munish Makhija.Pooja Bhatt was eldest child of director Mahesh Bhatt and she married Manish in 2003. The two met on the sets of film ‘Paap’ and got married in Goa

“To all those who care & especially those that don't my husband Munna & Me have decided to part ways after 11 glorious years of marriage.
“Our split as some might call it is amicable & we hold each other in the highest esteem for now and forever.
“The reason I explain Is because we are both part of the public domain. Our friends,well wishers & foes are free to now speculate.’’
“Staggered by the love & support displayed by intimate strangers as well as the silence from most of my friends! Love you all!
Bhatt made her acting debut at age 17, in 1989 with Daddy, a TV film directed by her father Mahesh Bhatt. Her biggest solo hit and her big screen debut came with a musical hit, Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin for which which Pooja received the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award for the film.Her last film appearance was in Everybody Says I'm Fine! in 2001. She has since focused on producing and directing.
She made her directorial debut with Paap in 2004, starring John Abraham and Udita Goswami. Since then, she has made four more directorial ventures: Holiday (2006), Dhokha (2007), Kajraare (2010) and Jism 2 (2012).
