Ram Charan-Sukumar combo 'Rangasthalam' had raised the curiosity of the audience right from the day of the announcement. Though everybody was expecting a different film, no one thought that it would become a blockbuster given the track record of Sukumar and Charan's recent films. But the movie has stunned the trade pundits with its outstanding box office performance.
What's more interesting is that the movie continues to set records after three months of theatrical release. Though the film has been available to Amazon prime viewers online after the fifty days of release, the movie is able to register good footfalls in the theaters as well. The movie is inching towards the milestone of 100 days.
The movie has collected more than Rs. 1 crore each in 31 theatres across Telugu states which is an unbelievable feat. The movie is going to complete 100 days run in a couple of days and it is still registering decent amounts. The movie has collected Rs.1.7 crores gross in Sudarshan theatre in RTC X Roads.
It is known that 'Rangasthalam' has collected nearly Rs.125 crores share in and became the highest non-Baahubali grosser. Earlier, the record was held by 'Khaidi No. 150' with Rs. 102 crores.
