'Sye Raa' Release Postponed

It is known that the expectations on Megastar Chiranjeevi's upcoming magnum opus 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy' are sky high. Touted to be a periodic drama, the movie is going to be based on the story of first ever rebellion against the British, Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy.
Surender Reddy is helming this project and mega power star Ram Charan under Konidela Productions is bankrolling this project with a massive budget. Initially, rumours came out that the movie is slated for a grand worldwide release on August 15th on the occasion of Independence Day. But it is evident that the movie unit has so much pending works and they are not able to release the film on time. Also, Ramcharan is looking for a solo release for the movie and has decided for another patriotic date October 2nd and is going to release 'Sye Raa' on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.
Also, Dussehra holidays season will be immediately after the release and the movie can take a good advantage of it. The movie features star cast including Nayanthara, Amitabh Bachchan, Vijay Sethupathi, Sudeep Kiccha etc.
