Another Remake & Biopic End Up As Failures In Bollywood!
X
Bollywood has run out of stories over the past couple of weeks. They are either picking up remakes of Southern films or opting for making biopics on successful personalities. Two films came out in Hindi this weekend. While one is a biopic named 'Shabhaash Mithu' which was made on the life of legendary cricketer Mithali Raj, the other film is 'HIT' which is a remake of a Telugu film with the same name.

Unfortunately, both these films failed to make an impression on the audience. They failed to bring people towards the theatres.

The collections were very low on the first day for these two films. While Tapsee played the lead in 'Shabhaash Mithu', it was Rajkumar Rao who played the lead in 'HIT'. Rajkumar Rao's crime mystery thriller got a mere 1 crore at the box office while is shocking a lot of people.

Also, the critics bashed both these movies. 'HIT' was quoted lackluster by many reviewers while 'Shabhaash Mithu' was blamed for just scratching the surface and not having a lot of substance. A lot of notable films from Bollywood have tanked over the past few months and the trend has continued this week too.

Sailesh Kolanu who made 'HIT' in Telugu took the responsibility of handling the Hindi version too. Sanya Malhotra played the heroine's role.

It was produced by Bhushan Kumar, Dil Raju, Krishan Kumar and Kuldeep Rathore. The movie also has Dalip Tahhil, Milind Gunaji, Shilpa Shukla and Sanjay Narvekar playing key roles.
