AR Murugadoss proved himself as a good commercial director in Tamil and his Ghajini made Suriya, a star in Tamil, Telugu too.
He too got immense accolades for his films in Telugu like Thuppakki, Kaththi remake Khaidi No. 150 and Sarkar.
He did direct Telugu films with Chiranjeevi - Stalin and Mahesh Babu - Spyder, a bilingual. But both did not turn out to be commercial hits, Spyder was a disaster.
Still, Murugadoss has a name and market in Telugu states. His next with Rajni is a masala cop story and even Telugu people are waiting for it.
Right now, the director is looking to win where he lost, it seems. He has been looking at delivering a good bilingual in Telugu and Tamil from years.
Allu Arjun has plans to expand his market in other South states and he is looking at Tamil Nadu for a while. His bilingual with Linguswamy was shelved so, he is looking to move forward with Murugadoss, it seems.
Let's see if the director and actor manage to agree on a script and do the film. If they do, it will happen in 2021 only as Arjun is busy with 2 films next year.
