Another Film Joins The Pongal Race

Looks like the next year Sankranthi is going to be a big race. Already there are half a dozen big-budget films which are scheduled for Pongal release. At least three or four of them will make it to the announced dates. Now, another big-ticket film has joined this competition.
It is King Nagarjuna starrer Bangarraju. It will be a spin-off of Nag's 2016 film, Soggade Chinni Nayana. Kalyana Krishna, who directed SCN, will also helm this movie. The shoot of this film will go on floors in August and Nag is planning to finish it by December and release it during Pongal.
Even SCN was released during the same season. But we have to see whether Banggarju will decide to face the competition of Prabhas 20, Rajinikanth's Darbar, Mahesh 26 and Indian 2, which all are slated to release during the same time, as of now.
