Anushka Takes Nayanthara's Route!

Only a few heroines show interest in making lady-oriented films. One such Tollywood beauty who has been like a brand-ambassador for female-centric movies is undoubtedly Anushka. Her first female-oriented movie 'Arundathi' turned out to be a blockbuster. Later she starred in such films like Panchakshari, Varna, Size Zero etc but none of them succeeded in repeating the same magic. However, her recent outing 'Bhaagamathie' became a sensational hit. With the push the success of 'Bhaagamathie' gave, Anushka signed another female-centric film.
Recently, a new director Hemanth approached Anushka and narrated a lady-oriented script. As Anushka got impressed, she gave her nod immediately to the project. Kona Corporation and Peoples Media collaborated to bankroll this film. Versatile actor Madhavan is also playing a vital role in the film. Other than this, there are two more female-oriented scripts that are getting ready for Anushka.
On the other hand, lady superstar Nayanthara is scoring hits with such films in Tamil. It seems like Anushka is also following Nayanthara and is being picky in the roles she plays.
