Anushka Proves Her Star Power!

Anushka and Nayantara have a tug of war in South Film Industry for the crown of the Lady Superstar. After Ramyakrishna and Soundarya, these two are the only two ladies to have a long career and huge fan base too.
They can release their films without any other star support and put up a decent to good opening all on their own.
Nayantara has been proving it from past two years. Anushka was busy with Baahubali and her movies like Size Zero did not become such huge crowd pullers either.
But the actress's latest release, Bhaagamathie, did see a crowd frenzy in Telugu states and even in Kerala and Tamil Nadu, it pulled upto 50 to 60% openings on the first day. In Kerala, despite the release of Aadhi, Pranav Mohanlal's debut film, the movie managed to attract crowds.
This shows that Anushka has all the strength like Nayantara and she is Telugu Lady Superstar for sure. Well, Bhaagamathie did have Malayalam popular actors like Jayaram, Unni Mukundan and Asha Sarath but being the main attraction of the movie, we have to credit such good numbers on first day to Anushka, majorly.
