In every movie theatre before the show starts our National Anthem will be played and the slide ask the viewers to stand up as a matter of respect towards our National Anthem. Recently the supreme court gave a judgement that it is not mandatory stand up. Everyone is sharing their opinions on this but senior actor Arvind Swami has got an interesting doubt.

Arvind Swami tweeted "I will always stand up for our Natl Anthem & sing along,which I do with great pride." He added "Never understood why it was mandatory in cinema halls only why not everyday in all govt offices, courts, before assembly and parliament sessions?" He expressed his respect towards our national anthem and also shared his doubt on social media.

Arvind Swami was last seen on Telugu screens with Ram Charan's blockbuster Dhruva movie in which he played an intelligent villain role. For his tweet, the netizens are commenting that the doubt why the officials who make the rules doesn't follow them is a thought provoking one. Let's wait and see how the officials will respond on this.
