Aravind Swamy who got familiar to Telugu audience with his dubbing movies like 'Roja', 'Bombay' etc, gained a massive fan following and is still one of the superstars in the South. The craze for him among the family audience is high.

His role in 'Thani Oruvan' which was later remade in Telugu as 'Dhruva' impressed the audience. The actor who also appeared in Mani Ratnam's Nawab' is now going to try his hand in direction.
