Are Mythri Movie Makers Taking A Risk With Him?

Mythri Movie Makers is one of the most bankable production banners in Tollywood right now. They made a grand entry into the production business with 'Srimanthudu' and went onto producer blockbuster movies like 'Janatha Garage', 'Rangasthalam' and others with star heroes like Mahesh, Charan and NTR. They scored a pan-Indian super hit recently in the form of 'Pushpa' and the banner is currently bankrolling crazy projects like superstar's 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata', 'NBK 107', Nani's 'Ante Sundaraniki' and Sudheer's 'Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali' and others.
While they scored blockbusters with big heroes, their track record with mid-level heroes is not that great. They made 'Savyasachi' with Naga Chaitanya which turned out to be a failure. Ravi Teja's 'Amar Akbar Anthony' and Vijay Deverakonda's 'Dear Comrade' turned out to be huge disasters. Though 'Chitralahari' and 'Gang Leader' got a positive response, they were not big commercial hits.
Now, they are reportedly taking another risk with a young hero. Apparently, they are going to produce Kiran Abbavaram's next film. The young hero gained good name with 'Raajavaaru Raanigaaru' and 'SR Kalyanamandapam'. His recent outing 'Sebastian PC 524' turned out to be a dud. The film bagged a negative response right from the morning shows.
He is yet to score a good hit in his career and Mythri Movie Makers are getting ready to spend around 9 crores on this hero as per sources. Though it is a less amount when compared to the films they usually bankroll, people are eager to see if this confidence in Kiran works in their favour or not.
