Everyone wants to reach the top position in the field they are in. The cine world is not an exception to this. Almost every heroine aims for the top position and No 1 seat. But very few can manage to hold on to the top position.
Talking about Tollywood, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was called the no heroine in the town. She gave hits at regular intervals and acted with every top star. Continuous hits made her the number-one star. But she is not in the position anymore. Due to some reasons, she is not doing films in Telugu.
Despite facing competition from Kajal, Tamannaah and others Samantha held on to the top position. Samantha even faced competition from dusky beauty Pooja Hegde as well. But Samantha made it to the top chair.
All of a sudden Rashmika Mandanna became a big name in Tollywood and turned out as a busy heroine. Though she made baby steps in the industry she went on to be part of big films like Sarileru Neekevvaru and the recent Pan-India film Pushpa.
Now Rashmika is also appearing that she lost the race. She is focusing on Bollywood. She was seen in a direct Bollywood film Goodbye in 2022 alongside Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan. The film also stars some of the popular and veteran actors in B-town.
Heroines have to focus on one industry if they have to reach the top position. The number one position among heroines has been vacant for a very long time and it appears like Sree Leela and Mrunal Thakur came into the place of Samantha and Rashmika.
Sree Leela made her debut in Tollywood with Pelli SandaD which was a decent hit. Her second film Dhamaka opposite Mass MahaRaja Ravi Teja turned out as a surprise hit and the film is still mashing big records at the box office.
Sree Leela has a few films in her kitty like Gali Janardhan Reddy's son Kireeti Reddy’s debut film. It is said that she is being considered for a few films including Pan-India ones. So she can take the position.
Bollywood actress Mrunal Thakur made an impressive debut in Tollywood with the critically acclaimed Sita Ramam. She scored good marks for her looks and acting skills. She was roped in for Natural Star Nani’s next film which is said to be a Pan-India film.
Mrunal Thakur might get a few projects if Nani 30 gets a big hit. With no star heroines in the town, she can make the best out of it and reach the top preposition. She can fit into any role and carry it on her shoulders.
