After a lot of postponements and delays, Naga Chaitanya's upcoming film 'Love Story' is finally hitting the screens on 24th September. The Telangana government has agreed to hike the ticket prices and it is 150 for single screens and 200 screens for multiplexes. As we know, they have allowed 100% occupancy in the Nizam area while the situation is still a bit rigid in Andhra and Ceded regions.
While the situation is looks encouraging in the Nizam area, experts claim that it may prove to be quite risky too. The trailer looked fantastic and the songs have already created a sensation. As we know, Sekhar Kammula's films are always known for their endearing stories which are relatable to youth and family audiences. They are not the kind of films that makes you whistle during any scene. Apart from youth, the family audiences are quite key for Kammula's success.
But they are showing less interest in coming into the theatres after lockdown is lifted. The family audiences are thinking twice before stepping into theatres and looking after their safety. Also, the heavy ticket prizes may also act as another factor that may stop the families to enter the theatres. Sekhar Kammula has a bright track record in the Nizam area and we need to see how he does with 'Love Story' which all these factors working against it.
