Are These Big Films Only Releasing On 2024?
By: Tupaki Desk | 17 Dec 2022 4:25 PM GMTThey are some of the most prolific movies in Tollywood. Fans are eagerly waiting for them to hit the screens. But it looks like those movies may not be released next year. As these flicks are made on a massive budget, it is taking a lot of time for making this project and sources say that they will only be released in 2024.
The first in the list is 'Project K' which has Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan playing the lead roles. It is a science fiction movie based on time traveling concept and Nag Ashwin is directing this massive project. The budget for this movie is over 400 crores and sources say that it will not release in 2023 at any cost. This means that it will only come out in 2024 and Prabhas fans will have only 'Adipurush' and 'Salaar' next year.
The next in line is 'Pushpa 2'. After the success of the first part, many expected the movie to kickstart early and release by the end of 2022. But the movie went on the floors recently and a film of this scale needs a lot of time. While the makers are aiming at a summer release or Dusshera release, there is a huge chance that it might get postponed to 2024 knowing Sukumar's itching for perfection.
Another project in this list is #RC15 which is being made under the direction of legendary filmmaker Shankar. Knowing Shankar's scale and vision, everyone expected this film to release in the second half of 2023. But the shooting has been slowed down suddenly as Shankar is juggling between this movie and Kamal Hassan's 'Indian 2'. There are reports which suggest that the makers are looking at Sankranti 2024 release in order to avoid competition.
NTR's 30th film which will be made under the direction of Koratala Siva has been announced as soon as 'RRR' became a huge success. But Koratala spent a lot of time on the script and he is yet to start shooting for this movie. The filming is expected to begin in January 2023 and sources say that it may be having a 2024 release as well. Pawan Kalyan and Harish Shankar's movie is also expected to release in 2024 as 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' will start rolling after 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' and 'OC' are completed.
