A discussion took place in a TV Studio regarding the protests launched by Parties, Politicians and Women Organisations against 'Arjun Reddy'. Vijay Devarakonda and Director Sandeep Reddy justified the way in which pure love has been depicted in the movie.
A Lady Caller who introduced herself as a Teacher working in a Medical College said: 'Usually, We say to Students that certain things shouldn't be done. In 'Arjun Reddy', You had shown what that we always wanted children not to do. Already, The film has become blockbuster & Team Arjun Reddy needn't worry anymore. At least now, You please give a message to children that such things shouldn't be practiced or done in real life'.
Vijay Devarakonda questioned, 'Mam, What is the need for Me to convey such a message again when the character itself changes towards the Climax?'.
The Caller added, 'Children will get attracted to wrong things only'. Soon, Vijay intervened to say that's her personal opinion and youth aren't like that! Then the caller said, 'Let's me finish my version. I have children..I teach them 100 right things to do but they use the cuss word they heard from someone in the school. You should make a movie in such a way that's its better for the society'.
Director Sandeep Reddy replied, 'Madam...You write a story…We will direct it! Children speak unparliamentary words they heard from someone outside at times...It's very common. It's the responsibility of Parents to correct them. If there is no bad, How will you tell this is good?'.
