Actress ignores summons, gets arrest warrant

Some celebrities & controversies go hand in hand. Bollywood actress Rakhi Sawant is one of them. She has never ever hit the headlines for her acting skills are good things.. that's the specialty of Rakhi. Rakhi Sawant has landed in a controversy for her objectionable comments she made against Sage Valmiki on a show which was telecasted on TV channel last year.
As the remarks were highly objectonable, cases were filed against her for hurting the sentiments of Hindus by insulting Sage Valmiki who wrote Hindu epic 'Ramayana'. Even though court issued summons several times, Rakhi didn't respond to the summons.. she kept on ignoring them. In a latest development, Ludhiana court issued arrest warrant against Rakhi Sawant on March 9, 2017. Police were ordered to submit her before the court on April 10, on which next hearing of the case is scheduled.
Responding on these developments, Ludhiana police revealed that "A two-member team of the Ludhiana police has left for Mumbai with the arrest warrant".
