Interesting Journey: Kuchipudi To BB2

Whenever audience talk about 'Baahubali' actors, everybody talks about Prabhas.. Rana.. Anushka, Ramya Krishna, Sathyaraj. There are several small roles which are going to memorable for others.. not just the crucial characters. This girl has acted in one such character. She is Ashrita Vemuganti.

Ashrita is from Hyderabad. She has learned classical dance from her childhood.. Kuchipudi in particular. She gives perfomances in several classical dance programmes. Rajamouli said to have watched her dance performance once and he liked her dance very much and that's the reason why she got the opportunity to act in 'Baahubali 2'. Ashrita told that she was thrilled when she received a call from Rajamouli son Karthikeya and told her about the offer.

Ashrita appeared in few scenes beside Anushka. Even though it is a small role, she gave memorable expressions. When she was asked how could she act like that in her debut film.. she said that "Dance and acting are almost similar.. that may be the reason why I could act like that". She said that working with a star like Anushka is a sweet memory in her life.. they are very polite on the sets. She said that she was afraid when she watched stars in the sets on the first day of her shoot... she got adjsuted later.

Bhanu Priya and Manju Bhargavi are basically dancers who excelled as heroines in films. Several artistes in K.Vishwanath films are from classical dance background. Ashrita is busy with her dance programmes and dance classes. She said she is ready to act if she gets suitable roles.
