At Last, Samantha Speaks About Family Man 2 Controversy!

Leading actress in Southern cinema Samantha Akkineni entered the North space with a bang with Family Man 2, the sequel of Family Man. The web series was streamed on Amazon Prime Video on June 4.
The web series has been receiving good reviews from the critics and the audiences as well. Samantha impressed everyone with her role as a Tamil Rebel. She played the role of Raji, a fearless woman on a mission.
However, Tamil people are batting for the demand to ban the series stating that it shows Tamils in a bad light. A few Tamil organisations found fault with Amazon to make a series that shows the Thamizh Eezham freedom struggle in a distasteful manner.
Earlier, the Tamil Nadu government has written to the union government to seek directives to stop the release of Family Man 2 on Amazon. In the letter, the TN government called the series inappropriate.
Now Samantha had stepped in to react to the controversy. The actress said she had researched thoroughly to play the role and said she saw several documentaries on the difficulties faced by Eelams.
We have to wait and see whether the damage control efforts of team Family Man 2 can make some change in the way Tamil people are seeing the web series.
