'Avatar 2' Needs 2 Billion To Break Even!

Usually, sequels take 4-5 years but James Cameron took a whopping 13 years to come with the second part of 'Avatar'. The great director is known for breaking all existing records whenever he releases his movie. Whether it is 'Terminator 2' or 'Titanic' or 'Avatar', James Cameron is the biggest director in the world.
'Avatar' came out in 2009 and it swept everyone off their feet. The visuals showcased in that film was never seen before and it took a film like 'Avengers Endgame' to break its record, that too in its second run at the box office showcasing the magic 'Avatar' created a decade back. The visionary director takes us back to Pandora world. 'Avatar: The Way Of Water' tells us the story of the Sully family, the troubles they endure, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they face. The visuals are nothing short of fantastic and Cameroon seems to have delivered another record-shattering film. The action sequences, the music, the production design, the acting and every aspect look jaw-dropping. The makers claim it as a 'Motion Picture Event Of A Generation'.
Speaking about the film, the renowned director stated that the movie needs 2 billion dollars to breakeven. Only after that, it will manage to get profits and he called it the worst business case in movie history. However, he did not reveal the movie's budget. Speaking about OTTs, he said that his movies originate from his dreams and the visuals in his dreams are too big for OTT platforms. He added that his dreams are his private streaming sites since he watches them freely every night.
The maximum ticket prizes for 'Avatar 2' In India are too high. The rate is 350 per ticket in Hyderabad while it is Rs 1450 for 4DX 3D in Banglore. It is Rs 970 in IMAX 3D or Mumbai. In Vizag, the minimum rate for a 3D version is 210.
