Some of the leading Film Studios are keen to set up their branches in Andhra Pradesh. Recent developments such as allotment of 316 acres in the surroundings of Ramanaidu Studios for new Film Studios are a clear indication. Already, Nandamuri Balakrishna and AVM Studios had officially announced their contention. Few National & International Firms are also keen to set up studios in the Port City.
AVM Studios, which is a reputed brand, wishes to set up a massive Film Studio in Visakha. It was established by Avichi Meiyappan in the year 1945. AVM have assets worth $307 million. Works related to hundreds of Feature Films and TV Serials happen all the time in this world famous studio.
As many as 170 feature films were made on AVM Banner. This production house has been producing films for the past 70 years. AP Government need to consider the application moved by AVM Studios first because of its great history.
