Why 'Varsham' remake won poor reviews?

Apparently yesterday's release "Varsham" remake "Baaghi" has won poor reviews from all the critics, while everyone praised the first halt a little they showed no mercy on the second half. Why so?
Even without giving credits to the original writers of Varsham movie, Hindi director Sabbir Khan has got the story altered big time. First half of this Tiger Shroff and Shradda Kapoor starrer resembles mostly Varsham movie only though backdrop of villain is changed. But second half became a complete non-sync Korean movie and the two halves doesn't match with each other.
Also the the below par performances from all leading actors is another course of disappointment. That's why poor reviews became inevitable for the film.
