Baahubali-2 Doesn't Win China Hearts!

Baahubali series has been able to become a huge hit in India, North America and even in Japan.
But somehow, Chinese people are not warming up for the film. They did not like the first film as expected.
So, producers did not try to release the second immediately. They released it in other markets first and once, in Japan, it became a huge hit, they released the film in China.
The film released in 7k theatres and earned 2.43 Million USD on first day and second day too, it earned upto 2.94 Million USD.
This is too less for a wide release as a film like English Medium earned 3.2 Million USD in lesser screens.
Well, for Chinese watching a film based on Kings and politics around throne with graphics magic, is nothing new and hence, they seem to have not liked Baahubali series as we expected them to. Still, Baahubali series earned most than any other Indian film franchise and to even touch Baahubali-2 records, films will take many years.
