Baahubali-2 the highest opener of 2017!

Baahubali is the most anticipated and awaited film of this decade. Yes, we can say that. The movie did not just out perform all other movies, it took a lot of steam out of all other Bollywood releases that even stars had to realise that regular films won't work like they did before. Even Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan struggled and this Diwali, a famous franchise film, Golmaal Again, only has been able to put up decent collections on Day 1.

Baahubali-2 collected 41 crores on a working day and that shows how much people waited for this epic drama. When we cumulatively calculate all languages, Baahubali grossed 100 crores on just day 1 and we are just talking about Hindi version here. Raees of Shah Rukh Khan, Eid release, Tubelight of Salman Khan have just put up half the numbers of Baahubali and Diwali release, Golmaal Again took an opening of 30 crores.

Second film of Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn, to do so after Singham Returns. Here are the Top 5 openers of this year and as there are only two more potentially high opening films this year, Salman Khan's Tiger Zinda Hein for Christmas and Padmavathi on December 1st, we can Baahubali-2 record seems to be unbreakable, at least for this year.
