The final runtime of Bahubali2 locked!

Bahubali2, the most awaited film of the year and well hyped up Telugu film ever Nationally and Internationally. The team is playing it slow and steady in their promotions as on one hand they are finishing the final works of post production and also taking time to get the sound of Bahubali right. They are using audio launch events as a means of promotion and yesterday, they released the Tamil version audio in Chennai.
The movie became so popular in all South Indian languages that the distributors and exhibitors are waiting for the movie to release. In many areas most of the distributors and third party exhibitors are new people and they have spent more than recoverable on just one film to see if they can hit the jackpot at one go. The movie needs to outperform it's predecessor and also create records that none of the films can imagine to reach in the theatrical release for everyone to make profits. While trade says this can be "The Film" from India to reach 1000 crores gross, few are still in doubt if the movie can really pull that much moolah.
Well, for any film to secure more at theatricals the amount of shows that multiplex screens can host and single screens can host are also important in current situation. More number of shows mean more number of people watching and more importantly more tickets being sold out at the fixed price. So one of the trade pundits who bats for movies to not go beyond 2hrs or 2hrs 15 minutes range tried to know the final runtime of Bahubali2 and Rajamouli said, it is fixed at 2 hrs 50 minutes. Nearly, 3 hrs long movie can get boring after the first viewing if the film fails to offer enough thrills and frills for the audience.
