Baahubali 2 Storm stuns Two Industries

Sandalwood Personalities has always opposed the release of dubbing films in Karnataka. All of them received the shock of their lives when 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' managed to collect a revenue that's three times higher than the previous best.
Puneeth Rajkumar starrer 'Raajakumara' is the biggest opener among Kannada films. It collected a Gross of Rs 7 crore on First Day. Whereas, 'Baahubali 2' raked in Rs 20 crore gross on Day 1 itself. All the four dubbed versions (Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam) released in around 400 screens in Karnataka. Kannada Stars would take at least a decade to surpass the benchmark set by the war drama.
In Kerala, 'Baahubali 2' was screened in as many as 80% of the screens. By collecting a Gross of Rs 6.27 crore on Day 1, It overtook the previous record of Rs 4.3 crore set by 'The Great Father'. Baahubali Malayalam Distributor will make a moolah as the theatrical and Satellite rights were sold for just Rs 11 crore
