Baahubali in Oscar race!

Oscar Award for Indian films always remained as a distant dream. Although couple of Indian movies such as Aamir Khan's Lagaan have managed Oscar nominations in the past, None of them were able to bag the prestigious honour but that didn't made Indian Filmmaker give up the hope.
Director Amol Palekar who is the chairman of the Jury appointed to pic up Indian film for Oscar Awards have zeroed in on few critically acclaimed films after scrutinizing about 45 movies. While Rajamouli's sensational 'Baahubali' is the official entry from TFI for Oscar, Tamil star Dhanush's production 'Kaaka Muttai' is the official entry from Kollywood.
Bollywood films such as Aamir Khan's PK, Priyanka Chopra's Mary Kom, Shahid Kapoor's Haider and Richa Chadda's Masaan are in the Oscar race. Especially, PK is gonna give a tough fight to 'Baahubali' and 'Kaaka Muttai'.
The official entry from India for 88th Oscar Awards will be announced on September 25th.
