'Baahubali' Producer's Strong Counter To Oscar Winner!
By: Tupaki Desk | 5 July 2022 6:37 AM GMTOscar-winning Sound Engineer Resul Pookutty recently made some sensational comments about Rajamouli's super hit project 'RRR'. This high-budget action drama is getting a lot of appreciation across the world and westerners are absolutely loving it. But Resul said that it is a gay love story that triggered a lot of fans. Netizens are firing on him for saying such a thing about one of India's biggest hits.
Replying to this, Shobu Yarlagadda who produced Rajamouli's gigantic 'Baahubali' franchise tweeted, "I don't think @RRRMovie is a gay love story as you say but even if it was, is "gay love story" a bad thing? How can you justify using this ? Extremely disappointed that someone of your accomplishments can stoop so low!"
We need to see how Resul responds to this comment. What is more appalling about the Oscar winner is the fact that he is trying to claim his opinion as the opinion of western people. He said that this is what foreigners are calling this film. 'RRR' is a movie that is being shortlisted for many international awards and getting plaudits from Hollywood writers and artists. While people from abroad are loving this action flick, it is quite disappointing to see our own people from the film fraternity taking potshots at it.
