Babu Bangaram rock steady, Thikka Trimmed!

'Babu Bangaram' & 'Thikka', the two new Telugu releases, opened to mixed talk & poor reviews. Still, The Venkatesh starrer is doing pretty well at the Box Office.
On Day 1, 'Babu Bangaram' collected a Worldwide share of close to Rs 7 crore. Inspite of a new release 'Thikka' on Saturday, Collections of this Maruthi directorial remained rock steady. 'Babu Bangaram' performed even better on Sunday as 'Thikka' garnered a disastrous talk. The Weekend figures could be the best in Venky's career. Now, Maruthi has got every chance of continuing his success streak.
On the other hand, There is no hope for 'Thikka' what-so-ever. First Weekend collections of this movie were below-par. The Makers trimmed the film by 10 minutes upon receiving the unanimous negative feedback. This Failure will teach enough lessons to Sai Dharam Tej for sure. He would be very choosey while choosing scripts from now.
