Babu Bangaram is a satisfying film for me - Maruthi

Maruthi Dasari, grew step by step to the position he enjoys today. He started his career with films that targetted youth and are made on shoe-string budgets. After a big hit like Prema Katha Chitram, he changed that trend and started doing films with recognised actors. With Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy, he got a big blockbuster and many thought the director has arrived to realise his full potential and talent.
But then when an actor like Venkatesh gave him an opportunity to make a movie, he made Babu Bangaram. Many had high hopes from the movie but Maruthi could not deliver on them. The director said that he is satisfied with the movie. He said, "I am happy with the movie. What story I had in my mind with the particular hero, I told the exactly someone. I was happy with the content and collections have made many happy too. But I can't deny the fact that it could have been made better. "
He also discussed about Mahanubhavudu being compared to Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy. He said, "I am happy that people are comparing my movie with another hit movie that is directed by me and with someone else flop or a bad movie. It doesn't really effect me and I take it as a compliment for the kind of film, Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy is."
