Bad Time For Tollywood

Even though so many remedies are being used, the analysts are predicting that the film industry will have to face some serious issues soon.
Telangana Exhibitors Association have already announced that the theaters will be shut down from March 1st onwards. The industry people are saying that because of digital projections, the service charges will be hiked and the theaters will have to face huge losses. There was a talk that the entire distribution in Tollywood is controlled by three or four biggies. Jai Simha Producer C.Kalyan also mentioned the same. On the other hand, some are stating that there is no truth in it. Some asked to release a rule to not release dubbing movies during festivals but most of the members haven't supported it. They are discussing that the hike in ticket charges will immensly affect the number of audience who watch the movies in theatres.
More over, the digital platform is causing more damage than anything. The high quality prints of movies are getting released within days after the release on digital platform. We can say that the entire Telugu Film Industry is at stake. The issue has even reached the point where all the theatres might have to get shutted.
