A situationrn arises where Baahubali has to choose one among Mahishmati Kingdom &rn Devasena. What decision did Baahubali take at this juncture & what rnconsequences did he face? Did Kattappa really killed Baahubali? Has rnShivudu fulfilled her Mother's Wish to burn Bhallaladeva alive? Watch rnthe Epic in theatres to know more!
Performances:
Prabhasrn has given everything for 'Baahubali' franchise. One gets the feeling rnthat a great king should be just like him upon watching the movie. The rngreatness of 'Baahubali' has been showcased in Part 2 in an elaborate rnmanner. So, Audience will love the character of Amarendra Baahubali evenrn more after watching 'The Conclusion'. Prabhas has been exceptional in rnemotional and action sequences. However, His voice and look could have rnbeen better in few scenes.
After Baahubali, It's the role of rnDevasena which is so crucial in the movie. Though there might be few rncomplaints about her look, Anushka's performance is flawless and she rnreally surprises in the sequence where she throws a challenge to rnSivagami.
Rana impresses as a cunning person. He, however, rnfailed to deliver his best in the sequence post Baahubali's death. rnSivagami brings a lot of depth to the story with her performance in the rnemotional scenes. Yet again, Sathyaraj leaves a mark of his own as rnKattappa. But, The attempt to generate some comedy with his character rndidn't work well. Nasser is brilliant to say the least as Bijjaladeva. rnTamanna doesn't have much scope in Part 2. Subbaraju does a fine job rnplaying the key role of Kumara Varma.
Pros:
Casting
Performances
Emotional Quotient
Background Score
Heroism Elevation
Cons:
Comedy
Visual Effects
Climax
Technicalities:
MMrn Keeravani showed his calibre to the fullest with the background score rnof 'Baahubali: The Conclusion'. Be it Heroism-elevation or Emotional or rnWar-field Sequences, BGM is simply top class. In the sequence where the rndecision to kill Baahubali was taken, Keeravani mesmerizes the audience rnwith his brilliance. However, Songs in 'Baahubali 2' could have been rnbetter. Except 'Saaho Baahubali' and 'Dandalayya', Rest of the songs rnappear pretty ordinary. Cinematographer Senthil Kumar has given a rnWorld-class output yet again. Sabu Cyril production design is rnoutstanding. Visual Effects of 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' couldn't meetrn the standards set by Part 1. Story of 'Baahubali 2' is close to what rnaudience expected but it's the conflict between key characters which rnmakes it worth a watch. Vijayendra Prasad deserves credit for it. rnDialogues were well written but there were few ordinary ones as well in rnfew sequences. What can be said about Producers or Production Values? rnHats off to Shobu & Prasad! Rajamouli focussed mainly on story in rn'Baahubali: The Conclusion' and succeeded in narrating the story in a rngripping manner. He left a mark of his own in hero-elevation and rnemotional scenes. He, however, wasn't able to meet the expectations on rnvisual grandeur. Even comedy tracks designed by him weren't impressive. rnThere is a bit of lag in 'Baahubali 2' when compared to Part 1.
Analysis:
Teamrn Baahubali mesmerized audience with the Visual Grandeur of 'Baahubali: rnThe Beginning'. At the same time, There is lots of criticism over lack rnof any story and strong emotion in the Part 1. So, Focus of Rajamouli isrn more on the actual story in 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' and hence high rnemotional quotient has been maintained.
On the flip side, rnAudience will be missing the Visual Grandeur which left them awestruck rnin 'Baahubali 1'. One gets the feeling that Visual Effects of 'Baahubalirn 2' isn't on par with Part 1. VFX Work in Kuntala Kingdom episode appearrn over the top. Pace of the movie is a bit slow particularly in the Firstrn Half. Rajamouli couldn't meet the hype over war scenes this time.
Introductionrn Sequence of Prabhas in 'Baahubali 2' is praise worthy. Rajamouli-mark rnHeroism elevation sequences will be a feast to watch. Baahubali chants rnduring the pre-Interval Sequence will be remembered for a very long rntime. Even Bhallaladeva's Raja Darbar scene would hardly make the viewerrn sit in their seats.
Although audience could predict what happensrn after the mystery over 'Why Kattappa killed Baahubali?' was revealed, rnRajamouli is able to arrest the attention of viewers with the emotional rnscenes involving all the key characters. He completely satisfied the rnaudience with the execution of this crucial episode. But, The scene werern Kattappa kills Baahubali didn't meet the expectations. How could rnBhallaladeva cheat someone like Sivagami who is so clever? Confrontationrn scenes of Sivagami and Devasena look a bit artificial. Romantic Track rnof Baahubali & Devasena could have been trimmed to some extent.
Soonrn after the end of Flashback, Focus shifts to the War between Mahendra rnBaahubali & Bhallaladeva. War strategies of Mahendra Baahubali &rn the attack he plans against Bhallaladeva were a bit unconvincing. War rnSequence don't meet the high expectations set by 'Baahubali: The rnBeginning'. Neverthless, 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' is a movie which rncan't be missed as it have plenty to offer.
Bottom Line: Saaho Baahubali!
