Rajamouli's Father Blockbuster sued for Rs 50 crore

'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' has been one of the most successful films of all time and its Worldwide gross is only next to 'PK' which holds the No.1 Position among Indian Films. Ever since the film hit the screens, Accolades never stopped coming and particularly Writer Vijayendra Prasad (Rajamouli's Father) has been praised for provided a fabulous script which spreads the message 'Humanity is above Religion'.
Several weeks after its release, Mahim Joshi who is a Writer, Director & TV Producer sued 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' for Rs 50 crore alleging copyright infringement. He claims his story has been registered with the Indian Film and Television Producers Council and The Association of Motion Pictures and TV Program Producers. Mahim claims he was shocked to find similarities between his Story & that of Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
Now, Mahim Joshi alleges copyright violation and sued the film for a whooping amount. Subsequently, The Court served legal notices to 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' team including Salman Khan, Director Kabir Khan, Writer Vijayendra Prasad and Producers Rockline Venkatesh and Rajeesh Bhatt asking them to send their replies by October 21st.
