Akkineni Nagarjuna used to take big risks with subjects and that helped him gain mass following among 90's youth. But after 2000's his risks did not pay off and he failed to carry forward the big image for next generation.
Still he proved that his box office potential is intact with Soggade Chinni Nayana. The movie became a huge blockbuster even when Nannaku Prematho was playing in theatres.
His Bangarraju attire and character have become famous from the film. Now, Naga Chaitanya will be seen as Bangarraju along with him in the new film.
This sequel is said to be biggest budgeted film of Annapoorna Studios and the reports say that the producers are spending more than Rs. 45 crores on film moving away from their circumspect approach.
After Manmandhudu 2 failure, many thought Nag will drop Bangarraju but he seems to have gone other way and even spending heavily on the film. Movie is directed by original film director Kalyan Krishna and Anup Rubens is composing music.
Ramyakrishnan is back to play an important role while Nag could be seen in dual role again as Bangarraju, Ramu. Krithy Shetty is acting as leading lady opposite Naga Chaitanya in the film.
