We have no say in when producers should release their films and how. But we can help them bringing news feed about other releases and that should definitely be enough for them to plan ahead.
The next plan of action for producers of medium budget and small budget films is to be aware of Saaho, Sye Raa updates.
Yes, not Beware but be aware! To plan a release date that doesn't get affected by these films, you need to know when they are releasing, in how many theatres they are releasing and what is the scale?
The movies are mounted on 200 crores budget and buyers have paid their highest to secure the rights of the film and hence, they will push for maximum number of theaters.
Now, they are asking medium budget films to give the big films breathing space of two weeks as they can't lose much money. In August, Manmadhudu 2 is releasing on 9th August and 15th August is reserved for Saaho.
Saaho will have National wide release and huge craze for tickets. So the experts of trade and buyers requested Evaru starring Adivi Sesh and Ranarangam of Sharwanand which was tentative to come on 2nd August, to go for September release than trying to somehow cram into next date available in August.
Adivi Sesh is happy to take his film to September and Ranarangam is already postponed to 13th September. Buyers got their say for both and we have to see, what is the Sye Raa official date now!? Definitely, once it is fixed, movies will be postponed or preponed around it.
